Trip details

Many of the details of my trip have not yet been revealed to me. That seems to be the way that they do it. The funny thing was when I met with Andre he asked me if I was going by train or flying. I told him my preference so I will be flying to Cheboksary tomorrow afternoon. I will spend tonight in Moscow.

I return to Moscow on March 13, 2009 in the afternoon and will be finishing out the rest of my trip in Moscow provided there are no unforeseen reasons why I will be delayed in the region. I did add a couple of days to the end of the trip in case I needed more time in Cheboksary.

I do however get the feeling that none of the reservations have been made ahead of time. I find that interesting. Things that make you go Hmmmm!

Mom stop worrying, you know I can take care of myself.

Thanks for all the updates and details. But, you said the hotel didn't have internet access and you couldn't leave the hotel, sooo how did you post this? I'm obviously missing something, but it doesn't matter. What matters is that you made itt safely to Moscow and will soon be on your way to meet your little one. How cool. And...you don't seem very nervous. That's great! I'll keep thinking of you and hoping the best in the days to come. take care.

Things will all work out in the end. We didn't have our plane tickets within Russia until the night before we left Ekat. You can't get flight or other tickets within Russia without showing identification, ie passport and/or other documents. I'm sure things will get sorted out. Enjoy your time in Moscow now. We really didn't get to see much of it when we went with Colby for those 3 days.

It is good to have a go with the flow attitude while you are there as things can change at the drop of the hat. Your coordinator will take good care of you!!

So glad you made it there safe and was able to sleep on the flight. We let our agency take care of everything and had no idea what was going on most of the time!! We did just fine too!

Yes, a go with the flow attitude is one of the best things you can take with you. :-)

I traveled alone on both trips, and your updates already have me reliving those exciting times!

Enjoy - can't wait to hear more!

Happy to hear you had a good flight. Everyone at work is thinking about you.
I know it must be driving you crazy to not know the details, but you're there and that much closer to bringing her home.
Praying for you.
(P.S. So jealous you went to Mood!)

flying is much better than the train when you are by yourself...be prepared for NO personal space on the Russian planes and they will unbuckle and stand before the plan reaches the gate...they don't care.

Read my post about your hotel in the below post....

Last minute is how they do things...they are sure that you will get the plane and hotel so it will be fine. At least they asked and you weren't stuck on a loooong train ride by yourself.

Can't wait to hear more...remember...Go With the FLOW...and....you have been waiting for this for a very long time....ENJOY YOURSELF!!!!
