I'm not in Kansas I mean Moscow anymore

I know I should have been enjoying my time in Moscow but all I could think about was Little Banana and going home. I made the decision to go home. I was so overtired and missing my own bed that I could not think straight.

I booked a flight and was on my way home in a matter of 2 hours. I did not get home until Sunday morning around 1 am from the airport. I have spent the better part of the day sleeping. Our parents came over and looked at all the pictures of Little Banana. I have so much to tell you all about her but I am still so tired. I promise tomorrow I will be better and able to tell you all about my trip to see her and the memories that I have of Russia.

Now I off to find my bed and my puppy and get tucked in for a long winter's sleep.

I am glad you are home, safe and sound. We had some Russian Martinis in honor of you and little banana. We missed you but are glad you are back and have trip #1 under your belt. Work has been busy, so don't worry we will work hard to keep your mind occupied....want to work?? LOL Just kidding. Take care.

Welcome home! Gerard must be so happy to have you home and hear about every moment you shared with your little banana.

Just think...on the next trip you'll be taking home, you will have a little girl in tow with you -- your daughter. :)

Rest up!

Trip 1 was such a whirlwind. . .I remember sleeping forever afterward! It will take about a week to readjust, though. Can't wait to hear more.

Okay, I know I read these posts so I'm not sure why I don't have comments. My only thoughts is that over the last week I've only been reading your blog and one other (a friend adopting from Ukraine), so I must have read your blogs and left them open on my computer forgetting to comment before going to bed (kids distract often and I forget what I have read/done). I have been following! Sorry for the late responses!!
