On the road again....Edited for Lynn

Now I just had a feeling that I was not finished with the DOCUMENTS. Who knew I needed a copy of my deed? Well I guess this is not a bad one to have to need because I know I can get it easily. So I am in the office waiting for it to be printed and off to Trenton.

I also spoke to the agency about my concerns and I have been told to put them to rest. So that is exactly what I have done. I am getting excited! It seems more real now that the plans are made.

Only 5 more days I have to work before I leave for Russia! Thank goodness for 12-hour shifts.

***Lynn, I am leaving on Friday the 24th. I could not find your email address to get back to you:)

Yup. We needed a copy of our deed too. We also needed to "update" it at least once while we waited between trips. Wierd!

Joy - I'm SO happy for you! One thing - I'm not sure how NJ does it, but make sure your deed shows you own the land AND the house on the land. We had an issue in Moscow Region during court because the judge said our deed only proved we owned land and not the house. She said we could be sleeping on a tent on the properly. Little does she know... I'm not a camper!! :-) So glad everything is coming together for you! :-)

We had some friends who had to get the judge a copy of the title of their car! That is high on my list of the weirdest documents needed for Russi@ court yet!!!!

YAH I am so happy for you!! It is soooo crazy the paper work needed, I had to get a letter from my car dealer so the Judge know I am making my car payments. When I tell people they just can not believe what we need for our Russian adoptions. Well you will be on your way soon and I hope the weather is warm in Russia. Can not wait to see pictures of your little girl.

Can I start making "the deed is done" jokes yet?? :) I had read about the deed somewhere once... and had to have a form filled out by a realtor too sheesh!!

I hope you are getting some sleep. The court trip was exhausting for me. At one point I fell asleep in the small car that picked us up from the airport. Had a stiff neck for a few days!

I am Praying that your trip is smooth and glitch free!
