Tea anyone?

We have not let Anna open all the gifts or play with all the toys that have been given to her. I remember when I was shopping and putting things on my registery I saw this tea part set. I wanted to put it on the list but for some reason missed it. Robin my niece's aunt sent this over to her with a little baby doll.

She looked so excited to see it that I could not resist letting her open it and play with it. If you need to buy a little girl a gift this is the one to get. The pot makes the sound of pouring water and other musical sounds. Another thing that I love about this line of toys is that this toy reinforces manners like 'excuse me' 'thank you' 'your welcome'.

I could not help but to snap a few pictures. She is way tired in these photos they were taken right before her nap.

Too cute!! What brand is the tea set? My dd has a miss matched tea set now and I'd love to get her this one with a tea pot for Christmas!!

Such sweet photos! She is adorable and I love all the smocking dresses she wears. Did you make them? You are very talented.

I wanted to mention from your last post where you had trouble calling it an orphanage. I did too, and actually have been using baby home. I know it seems silly, but it makes me feel better for some reason. Although it sounds like a euphemism, they were called that in our region in Russia, probably yours as well.

Hi Joy,
She is so adorable with that tea set! I gave one of my nieces a tea set when she was 3 and it turned out to be one of her favorite things - She is 11 now and still has it!
I am sure Anna will always treasure this. Have a nice weekend...Teresa

What an adorable tea set. And the girl and dress the photos even cuter! I love all her dresses.
As for the word orphanage, I don't think I have ever called it that. I have always said "baby home" and when someone sees the photo of his baby home and says orphanage I usually correct them and say orphanage. We were told that until they are 5, kids stay at the baby home, after that they go to an orphanage. Semantics yes but baby home sounds so much nicer.

Oh my how sweet! I have to tell you what happened when I was reading your blog earlier this evening. My DD was playing beside me. When I got to the pctures of Anna playing with her tea set she jumped up on my lap and ask who she was, so I told her and she looked at me and ask if she could go play with her. She has 3 tea sets and loves to play tea party. Wait till she figures they actually hold water fun, fun, fun! Even better wait till she makes Daddy play! Too cute!
